LAT aims to be the centre of professional puppetry training in the UK, playing a vital role in supporting the rare art form of puppetry. We regularly run professional training courses in both puppetry making and performance skills. Please watch this space or sign up to our mailing list for updates on training courses.
Professional Development Courses
We run an ongoing programme of workshops and events for professional development, please go to the professional development section of our website for a full listing of what is currently on offer.
Other Artist Development Opportunities
Little Angel Theatre welcomes applications for our artist development platforms: INCUBATE, HATCH and FIRSTS.

Dates: INCUBATE is an ongoing programme, with slots allocated throughout the year
Apply if: you need time and space to explore and research new work which contains a strong element of puppetry, without the pressure or restrictions of a public show at the end of the process
How to Apply: Applications should be maximum three pages A4 and include: a project description, why you want to do it and the aspect of puppetry you wish to explore, who you want to be involved and why (short biographies rather than full CVs), images or links to videos of previous work. Some companies will have the opportunity to work with students from RCSSD in their development period – we strongly encourage you to consider how you would make use of them and include this in your application.
