Summer Holiday Activities: The Little Angel goes Out and About
Working in partnership with local organisations, The Little Angel Theatre have created 2 brilliant projects for you to get involved in during the Summer Holidays. Please get in touch with the respective organisations to book a place.
Islington Summer University
For: 11 to 16 year olds
Dates: 29th to 31st July
Times: 10.00 am to 4.00 pm
Location: St Mary's Neightbourhood Centre, Upper Street, N1
Manga Mix - an exciting fusion of animation and puppetry
Using Manga comics and films as inspiration you will work with an expert puppet maker to design and create your own puppet character - complete with accessories (where required!). You will spend the third day working on stage at the Little Angel Theatre to create your play, ending in showcase performance for friends and family at 4.00 pm on Friday 31st July.

Around the World with the Little Angel Theatre
For: 5 to 11 year olds
Dates: 11th to 14th August
Times: 10.30 am to 4.30 pm daily
Location: Jackson's Lane Theatre, 269a Archway Rd, Highgate, N6
Travel the world and make the most of your holidays by creating your own puppets. We'll transport you to Turkey, India, the Far East and even the English seaside! Each day you'll visit another country and find out about the puppet styles they have there - then make your own!
· Explore the tradition of Bunraku and make a Japanese Table Top Puppet
· Meet Karagoz and Hacivat and make Turkish Shadow Puppets
· Travel to the East and explore Indian Marionettes
· Enjoy a trip to the English seaside and make your own Punch and Judy style Glove Puppet
