Sensory Science and Storytelling
17 Jun–18 Jun 2023
For ages 3 - 5
Duration: 1 hour
Join us at Little Angel Studios for a session full of curiosity, discovery and play. This summer we are continuing on with our sensory science series through an object-centred session which allows your little scientists to engage their senses and explore the world of STEM in a fun and creative way.
In this hour-long session we will explore the mysterious world of weather through music, storytelling and messy sensory play. Make a rainbow, play with shadows and make the rain fall through the clouds. Be prepared to help with science experiments, fuelling each child’s curiosity about the world, encouraging play and exploration through the senses. We use sustainable resources that are accessible and easy to recreate at home, enabling new forms of play for you and your child.
“Don’t let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity. It’s your place in the world; it’s your life. Go on and do all you can with it, and make it the life you want to live.” – Mae Jemison, Engineer, Physician and Former NASA Astronaut
“All sorts of things can happen when you’re open to new ideas and playing around with things.”
– Stephanie Kwolek, Chemist
