Based on Michael Rosen’s poem, The Firebird is a new puppet opera composed by Noah Mosley and co-produced by English Touring Opera and Little Angel Theatre.
Ivan is a young and foolish Prince who wants to take things for himself. After capturing The Firebirdonly to set her free when he feels a sadness in his heart, she gives him a feather that will help him if he needs it…
Delve into the enchanted castle where Ivan will meet the free-spirited Princess Vasilisa and the menacing and cold-hearted King Katschei!
The film brings together singers, instrumentalists and puppeteers in an atmospheric fun, comic, and enthralling online puppet opera for children directed by Valentina Ceschi and designed by Little Angel Theatre’s Ellie Mills.
