If you need to reserve certain seats which are more accessible for you, for example if you are visually impaired, hard of hearing, or have a mobility issue which means you would be more comfortable in an aisle seat, please contact our Box Office.

Please note that wheelchair spaces can only be booked with Box Office by phone because we need to take extra seats off sale. For other access requirements, you can book tickets online if you prefer, but you will still need to contact Box Office in advance of the show to reserve seats.

We have a portable hearing loop in our theatre space which is available to use for general interactions with our staff. LAT is currently looking into the possibility of installing a fixed hearing loop system into our theatre space though this is currently not available.

Assistance Dogs:

We welcome assistance dogs at our venues. It would be helpful if you could let us know in advance of your visit if you would like to bring your assistance dog to a performance. We are a small venue and due to staffing limitations we cannot usually offer to look after assistance dogs in the foyer, but please get in touch if this is something you would benefit from and we may be able to make arrangements.

Access Tickets

  • Adults who require another adult to assist them on their visit can book a free ticket for a personal assistant. These are available online, but if it’s your first time booking one you’ll need to contact the box office first so we can add the eligibility tag to your account.
  • If you are in receipt of disability or other benefits you can apply to join our Puppets For All scheme for free tickets. You can find out more about that, here.
  • If you require a wheelchair space in the auditorium you need to book by phone (this is because we need to take extra seats off sale, which is not currently possible with online booking).
  • For other seating requirements, you can book tickets online if you prefer, but need to contact Box Office in advance of the performance to reserve seats. You can do this by phone or by email.

Our performances and activities

Relaxed performances

For most of our in-house productions one performance is scheduled as a Relaxed Performance. Relaxed Performances are advertised on our website.

Relaxed Performances are provided for people who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, or are uncomfortable with sudden lighting changes or loud noises, including those with an Autistic Spectrum Condition, sensory or communication needs or a learning disability. During these performances, we have fewer people in the audience and may adapt the show to lower the sound levels and keep the lighting at a higher level so that you are not sitting in darkness.

If you require a friend or assistant to sign for you, this is a good performance to come to due to the higher lighting levels.

We want to ensure that our tickets for Relaxed Performances are kept for those who need them, so they are not available to book online. To book tickets for a Relaxed Performance please call the Box Office on 02072261787

If you would like more information about our Relaxed Performances, or would like to receive regular updates about when they are scheduled, please email education@littleangeltheatre.com

Visual Stories

Visual stories are a visual resource for children and young adults with Autism, Aspergers, Sensory Processing Disorder and associated conditions. These resources are intended to help prepare any visitors for a new experience and to help them to become familiar with the surroundings and situation.

For a general introduction to the theatre building and what will happen on your visit download our Little Angel Visual Story

Visual Stories for Current Shows:

We also create Visual Stories for each of our in-house productions. We publish these Visual Stories as soon as possible, and they are always made available in advance of our Relaxed Performances.

Visit the ‘What’s on’ page of the show you are coming to see to find the visual story.

If you would like to see Visual Stories for any of our past shows, please email education@littleangeltheatre.com.

“The staff were lovely and our son really enjoyed the show. We were less anxious about how he might react because we had the visual story in advance and knew it was okay if he needed to step out for a bit” – Audience feedback
