Family Workshops - Puppet Festival: Mini Puppet Adventures

Duration: Approx 1 hour
Next up in our Festival Season is a sensory adventure!
Our friendly facilitators will guide you and your family to craft a mini festival, featuring sparkling mud, colourful stalls, soft blankets and lots of bubbles. Let your little one’s senses lead the way as you feel the sunshine and taste the rain. Can you find the source of the smells? It’s food and fireworks! Listen closely and you’ll hear the bugs’ bzzz and the bass boom. Don’t forget to show off your puppet’s colourful costumes as they skip around the festival. Share some quality family time and bring the good vibes home this summer.
This activity is designed for children aged 3 – 6 together with their parents or carers. Children need to be accompanied by adults for this workshop and must not be left unattended. Each adult and child needs their own ticket.
Workshops are held at our Studios building on Sebbon Street, not at our Theatre building.

Little Angel Theatre’s First Ever Children’s Puppet Festival
Jam-packed with shows and workshops for all the family and adults too!
We are delighted to announce our first-ever Children’s Puppet Festival which will take place across both Little Angel venues this summer from 2nd August – 3rd September 2023. The vibrant programme will showcase a broad range of puppetry by the most exciting UK and international companies currently making theatre for young audiences.
There will also be plenty of opportunities for everyone to take part, with workshops for families, community events, fun days for children and courses for adults to try out the craft of puppetry.
