Little Angel Youth Theatre (11-17 years)

Two term production project starting Autumn 2014

Inspired by The Jabberwocky

This term we are excited to announce that our Youth Theatre will begin working towards creating a performance inspired by Lewis Carrols dark and eerie poem The Jabberwocky over two terms which will culminate in a two night run at Little Angel in March 2015. Working with a professional puppet director and maker Oliver Hymans (who directed last years acclaimed YT production of Macbeth) the project begins in the autumn term by creating a story themed around the characters and concepts in this weird and wonderful poem and beginning to make the puppets they will need.  The spring term starts with the chance to see Little Angel’s own version of  Jabberwocky and then completing and rehearsing their own production.  The final performances will take place at the end of the spring term in March over two nights.  Please take note of the production week dates.
