The Instrumentals
Bursting to life with brilliant puppetry and bold music, the Instrumentals is full of love and laughter, about the memories we hold and how we celebrate life. This is a show for all children with characters, story & inspiration from the African-Caribbean diaspora. It’s full of uplifting original music with soulful sounds and seventies grooves.
Aimed at ages 4 - 11

The Flying Bath
From giving a muddy piglet a shower to putting out a fire for a frightened baboon, they have water at the ready for any emergency – as long as they’re home for the children’s bath time at the end of the day. Julia Donaldson and David Roberts’ playful and adventurous story splashes into life in this adaptation featuring catchy songs, quirky bath toys and everyday heroes.

The Nosy Little Troll
Aimed at ages 3 - 8

The Wolves in the Walls
Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean’s spooky and hilarious tale comes to thrilling theatrical life in this frenzy of puppetry, songs, and shadow-play, directed by Toby Olié and featuring original songs by Adam Pleeth and Carl Grose.

WOW! Said the Owl
WOW! Said the Owl, the acclaimed children’s book by award-winning author, Tim Hopgood, is brought to life through a blend of beautiful storytelling, puppetry and music. Directed by Joy Haynes, this show will delight and excite very young audiences.

People behind the puppets
Over the past 60 years, a huge range of designers have brought their unique puppet designs to life on the Little Angel Theatre stage.
In this new online series, Little Angel’s very own Little Angel puppet will meet and interview several different designers to find out more about their experiences of puppetry design and why they love working in the field.

Bertie
Bertie… is our brand new first-ever digital series!
Bertie is an environmental entertainment and education series or children aged 3 to 8 on LAT’s YouTube Channel. Children will learn about different environmental issues and consider how they can take their own steps to help combat climate change.
All puppets and set have been designed and made using found and recycled materials – LAT is committed to environmental sustainability in our actions as well as in our content.

Digital Performances
Our Spring Shows are arriving in your living room just in time for the Easter Holidays! Bring ‘The Flying Bath’ or ‘The Instrumentals’ to your home on 14-16 April with our digital film!
Tickets cost £7 per household and will give you access to the film from 3 PM on Friday 14th April until 3 PM on Sunday 16th April. You can watch the film as many times as you like during this period.

4 – 6 April 2023
Fun Day
Spring has sprung at Little Angel Studios this April half term. Drop your little ones off for a day of cracking fun.
We’ll have a day packed full of making and creativity, where you will get to make your own flower pot puppet and learn puppetry techniques to help bring it to life. An enjoyable and educational day that’ll leave your child with an extra spring in their step.

Family Workshops – The Flying Bath
Want to make a splash this spring?
Join us at our studios on Sebbon Street, where we’ll be exploring the world of The Flying Bath. You can expect simple crafts, singing, dancing and surprises! This workshop is a fantastic addition to the performance, and great fun for those who haven’t seen the show as well.

£50 could help us provide free online resources for children and schools across the country.
£150 provides a free half-day puppetry workshop for a class or local community group.
